Unreal 5 - Valley of the Ancient

I was part of the team that created the 'Valley of the Ancient' demo which shows off some of UE5's exciting new features!

I worked with the environment team and was involved with some of the layout design, composition and look of the environment, as well as helping out with some of the build using the awesome Quixel library and tools. I also guided the texture and surfacing quality for the ancient ruins and gate structure that Echo passes on her journey through this land.

In addition to the environment work, I guided the texture and surfacing quality for the 'Ancient One' and worked closely with the team at ASC to bring this giant robot to life.

Shout out to Francois Antoine, Joshua Ong, Wyatt Savarese, MinJie Wu, Chad Roen, Aaron Sims and his team and the entire Epic crew for their incredible work creating this fantastical place and pushing the boundaries of realtime.
